The Look's
In some cases sound is not the only factor ask the wife or girlfriend they are known to be the harder judges in this area and why not. The jr149's looked the business !. They where small but perfectly formed. Sadly the foam surround's rotted over the year's due mostly to sunlight uv rays which do untold damage to most thing's including human's!. After seeing various forms of replacement grill material's, my friend and I came upon the idea to make them look how they used to look when new, the Jr149's that is, this is what we have set out to do. The new grill material is 32mm x 10mm bars in black Declon acoustic transparent foam, and as one customer as said " my JR's look like new again". We can also supply for jr 150's and jr subwoofer,The jr's came in a range of finishes including inlaid leather top's, even aluminium end caps and gold plated to special order.
JR 150::
The jr150 was a larger version of the jr 149 mk1. It used however an audax 1" tweeter and two 110mm bass units in parallel in an aluminium cylinder enclosure. It was not as popular as it's smaller brother.The drivers where Audax HD13B 25H-2C12 16 OHMNS,
